That actually looks pretty good. Bracelet seems to be a nice colour and SEL sides look to be gold and midlinks wrapped.

Dial looks good too although insert colour seems to be too light a shade of blue.

SEL sides are not covered, except for a wraparound sliver. That masks the incompleteness to a degree. Midlinks are the same partial coverage. You're probably right about the insert color.

Now that I've watched the video on my PC monitor rather than my iPhone, I can see the edges are just gold and not the full sides as you say. Why can't they just go the full way round and cover all the side of the SEL and midlinks!

Wow, I love the look of this watch. This will definitely be my 2nd watch purchase. Just need to decide whether to get Noob V8 or the JF (both look amazing to me). I'am just starting out so have a hard time picking minor differences. Been doing a lot of reading, its very overwhelming at first trying to get in the loop of things. Would i be right in saying this is a $1000+ rep?

I think JF 3135 insert and dial is amazing!! However, the fat font bother me a lot. I replaced with a much better DW, here is the comparison:

I bought this better/thinner sh 3135 DW from a member here.

I think it is a newer sh 3135 version. So I don’t need to do extra modding to fit the movement. I heard you need to sand/thin gen DW to fit sh 3135.

Much cheaper than gen DW. A lot of bank for the buck.

Never heard of that before. I've got a gen DWO in my SH3135 Noob v7 Hulk and it never needed any sanding down.


Been looking at the GMF 116613 which has a gold wrapped bracelet, albeit 316L, but it looks really nice and the gold colour appears good. Not sure on the quality of the GMF though, as looked at a few pics and seems to be marks or blemishes on the bracelet, although could just be the pics or dirt I suppose.

I think you're confusing with 2824 or 2836, for these you need to thin the gen DW as you actually use it as an overlay. For an SH it should be a direct swap (although some have reported issues when doing do in the SH that power the JF 16610)
