Plated color last how many years approximately?

Thanks

Nice pictures, but the bezel insert would be the first upgrade I would undertake on this version.

The ARF in the video looks very good IMO, but the $500 for a plated watch….
These bluesy's are always whispering to me, take me with you to the beach! Above people say it wears like a million dollar watch and this is so true!
I had a cheap 2813 two tone, and after 2 years daily use and also a lot of beaches and salt water, the gold started to fade but still quite nice.
I think the NOOB V8 is also a good option, isn't the VRF dial a little purple'ish?
Actually we had the perfect version, the LocoLouie, I'm still so sad about it....

VRF dial isn’t purplish that I’ve seen. You’re right about the LL version though. Best there was (for now)

Here you have the Gen on the right...
But I'm not sure if this is the normal or MAX version

Can somebody help me here? I'm in the market for a Blusey two tone, but I'm having a hard time picking between ARF and VRF (or others).
Don't really care about bare SEL. Is the ARF the best option for me? The VRF insert color seems a bit off compared to the ARF.

VRF gold color is spot on with gen.

Thanks for the heads up. I was reading on other topic here on RWI about the blue TT still being far from a super rep. Honestly, I haven't seen the gen in person outside an AD (with sunshine) so not too familiar with it. But I can instantly tell that the insert on the VRF looks a bit too bright. The ARF has some little issues as well. My idea was to make my TT as close to gen as possible, but just the insert can cost upwards of 1k€. I might scrap my plans and just get the Gen :) Or maybe get another model (Hulk or standard 116610LN). Still need to think. :)

The blue TT is a bitch to get right. I got lucky and found a gen insert for a good price, but they are extraordinarily rare since they are an exchange part only. I saw the insert and bezel on chrono24 for about $3500! I think Spongebob has good inserts with the gold plating. Get ahold of him and see what he can do for you. If you were to start from scratch I think it’d take about $2500-3000 to do one of these really well, a far cry from the $12-14k the gen will cost. I’ve got around $3k in mine right now.

Can you share where you got the insert from and for how much?
Thanks a lot.

Actually to be honest, far from gen. I owned both. Pic...my gen bluesy beside my VRF MAX. VRF gold is darker and more yellowish compared to gen.

The VRF bracelet I have is right on color wise. It’s much closer than the stock Noob or any other currently available. The VRF is hardly far from the gen color. A shade off maybe, but compared to this it’s pretty close.

Maybe you got a different batch but for my VRF, it is significantly different when placed side by side with gen. Instant tell for mine.
