Rolex don’t even seem to use colourless AR anymore, they now come with the blue tint.

I've found that this varies from watch to watch. My SubC cyclops had a purplish tint which tended to look more colorless under light. My BLNR cyclops has a blueish tint under light. They both do however generate the black hole effect which none of my reps have able to accurately reproduce out of the box (V8 GMT, V9 Sub, ARF Sub, JF 11610, DJ 36). I think it has more to do with the quality/clarity of the crystal and cyclops as well as the adhesive used to attach them.

I swapped my arf subs with professor crystal and the difference was night and day.

I have seen gen also but never had the chance to do side by side.

I do know there is a huge difference with professor black hole and arf crystals

I must add arf crystals are far better than any other rep makers such as noob, vrf , bp and the rest.

I compared my ARF rep to a 2016 gen ofcourse the bracelet is not 100% as the gen but the quality is amazing.

Sorry but I don't find the quality of the gen Rolex Submariners good they are way overpriced compare it with AP and you will see the difference.
