it turned out for way over $100 more 904L isnt so very special.
for that extra money it would be better to build the 116610 in 316L with a black-hole-xtal(like prof's) instead of 904L. its the way way bigger tell.
sure, a 904L with a blackhole would be great, but i cant afford a watch near $700.
if u can build 904L with blackhole for $500->no question: do it.

316L - there are more important things than 904L. It‘s like the cherry on the cupcake- if the cupkake isn’t good a 904 Cherry won‘t make it better

i just want a stock blackhole-xtal with LEC.
not sourcing a prof, triangle it, and have it installed(expensive and annoying).
even a sticker would do the job.

For an owner who has experienced the Prof's blackhole cyclops, I have to attest that that mod is absolutely essential. Spoilt as I may be, I would prefer that, over 904. After all, the subC is mainly brushed, unlike the Daytona, where all the polished parts will bring out the advantage of a 904 over a 316.

904 whether polished or brushed is a waste imo. When comparing my gen 116610 and my Tc 16610 (or noob v5 or 7 116610), the grade of ss ain’t even a thing.

Although I don’t want the factories to charge $100 let alone $200 more for a black hole crystal if it isn’t spot on. Not when a gen crystal can be had for a little over $300

Because I bought a ARF and compared it to a gen also ARF has a black hole effect (sort of) which looks not that bad

And I had a noob v6, noob v6s and v7 before there were all not even close to the ARF rep in terms of quality.
