Hmm you're right, some of these do have the long ft and yet some of them don't even from the same model year. Even the Rolex website shows the dial as short ft.. maybe the long is new ??

Indeed, the dial from your OP is a dial correct till 2017.
There are 4 or 5 dial variants for hulk. The dial you are referring to is just one of the older dial.

Why did you decide to buy VRF?

I got my VRF MAX Hulk from Ryan at intime about 2 weeks ago. Got my QC photos literally a day prior to the raid! My dial is a BP and gorgeous, and has the "older" font - no "long f". I waffled for a long time as to which was the "correct" dial, and my (admittedly limited) research online showed that just as you are being advised, there are different fonts used for the LV. Maybe mine is "older", I don't know - what I do know is that the BP dial is really spectacular and I am glad that I got whatever this version is!
I don't know if they have changed since the raid... These "factories" are basement/garage operations after all, (and likely as not, constantly changing locations to stay one step ahead of the law) so it is pretty amazing that they make these reps with such astounding accuracy. I was blown away when I got mine!

Got mine from Ryan 4 days ago. It’s the new version with long f and beveled date window. Watch is spectacular.

Heard some people saying there had been a drop in quality on the VRF max from the previous model? Are you happy with the feel, clasp, bezel clicks etc? Can you post some pictures in different lights please? Thanks p.s toying with the VRF max or noob v8

O. K. Short conclusion. This watch is not on par with my ARF SD43 qualitywise.
But it is really good. Bezel clicks very good, no play. Centered exactly on 60. Rehaut is perfectly centered. Clasp is o. K., glidelock working fine and tight. Dial is spectacular and really really good. So are the markers. Hands have got 3D effect. Lume is good, too.

Only two things are annoying. The endlinks are not 100% evenly brushed. Maybe I will rework this. And the caselugs are not 100% the same angle and brushing if you compare the 5 and 35 pair with the 55 and 25 pair. But it is not noticeable on the wrist.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I wanted to hear. So is this the VRF max version? Did I read you got this from Ryan? Might try and get one before Xmas.
Looks like you enjoying your choice ????

Yes, I‘m enjoying this piece. It’s a nice alternation to my SD and other reps.
I got this piece from Ryan. And yes it’s the max version. You can spot it by the clasp code “OUS” and the dial. The max dial hast got a beveled date window with sharp corners and MK-III writing.

BTW: it’s running so accurate. Since monday it has gained only 6 seconds!

I have a noob omega CrPO 42mm and the clasp on that isn’t great so isn’t pushing me for another.
I am not interested in building a 2k Frankenstein, just want the best god value out of the box hulk and the max seems it ????
Thanks for the help buddy

I think so. No hulk on the market is perfect. All have got at least one flaw.
VRF delivers a reasonable value for the price.

With a little tune up it it’s possible to make a really good watch out of it.
I think the CGs have got a bit room for reshape of the inner area. Of course crown position is low in the case but I can live with that. 0,4mm... And a better crystal would be an improvement. Some rebrushing and polishing and you’re done.

I think I will do this soon and make a small review after work has been finished.

Haha I am not going to look at my watch through a magnifying glass or measure 0.4mm variations.
Just wanted a watch that looks good to me or average joe, I think the VRF meets the criteria.
