So I've decided to join the ranks here who've done this mod and just decided to post it here for fun! I just received the dial and bezel last night from ARF, and I'll be sending it off soon for it to be fit into it!

I wanted an affordable but nice daytona as I don't really like watches that don't have a date complication but the look and movement seem too fun to pass on.

Anyways onto the parts so far:

Now... to just find someone to do the work...

Exciting! Thinner Dials and Deeper Etched Ceramic Bezel.

Do you prefer the ARF bezel over Noob?

Have you ever think about paint mod Noob bezel instead? The arf bezel is always missalight

majwilliams0308 hey mate who did you order the ARF parts through? I've been waiting months for any parts from ARF ordered through puretime just doesn't seem like it'll happen lol

did you notice the rehaut engravings on the 904 noob case are misaligned pretty badly

Love your work, maj. I’m with you in preferring a date in my watches. Out of curiosity, how much are you looking at putting into this build?

As little as possible. This is as far as I'll go probably once the parts are installed. This is the older 316L version I was lucky enough to snag on M2M.

As far as parts go, I ordered through my TD, Watchfinder. He and I have a long relationship though, not sure if that matters for determining if the TD will go for spare parts or not.

Update:

misiekped finished the work and installed the dial and bezel perfectly! Can't wait to get it back.

He shaved the gasket and slimmed it down a bit as well.

Beautiful. I am about to order the noob watch and my TD will do the dial but not the bezel.

The ARF dial has to be shaved on the outside by a CNC machine or something else in order to fit into the noob.

Thanks. I know this. I've read all the posts and drooled over the photos and have the build list! May send it all off for the work.

Where are you located?

I've got the watch back and I've had a chance to take some proper photos on this cold rainy day. Sit back and enjoy!

This Daytona has been slimmed to 12.3mm, and has been waterproof tested to 10atm!
