Gen Vs Rep.

Sold of my Gen 116610lv so I can't do a side by side comparison.

116610lv gen (with green tag in background)

Different shade of green on the bezel and dial. But I personally wouldn't be able to tell if it was on someone else's wrist.

However, there is a comparison of the cyclops/magnification on the ARF vs a 116613lb gen. The usual flaw, larger date mag on the ARF.

The ARF weight is pretty similar to the gen BLNR and LN. (same amount on links on bracelet)

Awesome! The bezel looks much better than the ARF I received. Mine was much lighter green sadly... Now I'm searching around for a VRF Bezel insert or correct color ARF version.

Just a heads up. I was a fan when the first reps of the 116610LV came out. Then my buddy brought the real deal and I just happen to wear it to his birthday party. I told him it was fake and he pulled out the real one and man was the rep so not even close.

Now I have built a 100% rolex 116610LV case and all. There is not one rep I have seen that can match the dial and the bezel color. I have seen a few that were close but the burst gives it away as does the dull bezel or over green bezel or under green bezel. Once China gets those down pact it will be a great day! LOL. They are getting better every year so one can hope. I actually stopped ordering them to review because once next to the real deal it is an eye sore.

The gen Bezel and Sunburst dial is just on another level. So hard to replicate. The Reps are indeed getting better. On the wrist, from a distance, it's hard to tell. But once you put them side by side, up close. Differences are rather obvious and huge. date is either too small, too big or not centred. Guess there will never be a perfect rep. Else factories run out of business. ????

Closest in color to gen is LocoLouise insert.
Too bad this guy became extremely unreliable and too bad we won’t see his attempt to replicate Batman insert.

What year is the gen hulk? Because the new 2018 have a different insert color (i mean the numbers) before it was yellowish now its much more white like the black submariner. No idea why they changed the platinum color of the numbers just saw it a few days ago and was surprised because the hulk always had this yellowish platinum which looked fantastic on the green bezel.
