Gen vs sonil va prof

ok so I have decided to change the crystal in my Noob submariner v9 but can’t decide on Gen, Prof or Sonil AR Crystal... obviously Gen will be best but how do you feel the other 2 compare?.. also the Sonil Crystal i seems like a bargain in regards to cost..

any advice or input is appreciated.

i had a Sonil 2xar crystal on my old sub, it made the watch dial look 1000x better, + hes UK based so no need to wait for a long time.

i have heard he is coming up with black hole crystals soon

Gen has x2AR only on the cyclops, giving it a black hole effect.

If you get a x2AR crystal that has x2AR applied over the entire crystal, it will not have a black hole effect as per gen. an instant “tell” that something is not visually right with your watch from across the table

gen is the best and most expensive
if u want an alternative with less cost and easier to source both Sonil and Prof look great on pics

Yea I would really like a gen and obviously it’s the best I just can’t really justify putting a $400 piece of crystal on a watch that cost $500 know what I mean?.

So the sonil crystal is actually a big tell because the whole glass is ar coated and not the cyclops?

Gen is the best..I have a prof black hole on my v9. Prof is adequate but you pay for what you get. This was covered before but I can post Picts tomorrow.

I have a Sonil 2AR (not black hole) which I bought last year for my Loco Louie TT Blusey. It remains uninstalled.
