Arf 116610ln sh3135

Hey all. Just want to let you guys know. I spoke with Angus and I am buying the Sample ARF 3135 116610LN from him to do a review here on RWI. Please post questions on what you want reviewed and looked at. I will review this thread before I do my breakdown. I don't know the exact day I will get it. He said he was shipping it today. I am very excited about this watch. I have been waiting for it for awhile.

You guys know that I love the ARF 116610LN 2824 version. It to me is the best turn key Sub ceramic rep. If you don't plan on upgrading at all. The bezel is great and the watch is a beauty. From puretimes pictures it looks freaking amazing. (I am not singling out PT from what I understand all of our TD's will have this).

Here is a link so you can look at the pics. This is the sample watch so I think it is the one I am getting. Can't wait to compare it to my all rolex but noob 9 904 3135 case and my real 116610LV case. The LV is coming out also soon.

The only thing I see here that needs to be changed is the date wheel. Angus told me that they are changing them to better ones. Knowing me, I will throw in a real date wheel and review it with it in and the rep one in. I hope the crystal is good. I have a few real crystals but they are not cheap. Between the crystal and date wheel I am looking at $400 in upgrades. All the other pics look really promising.

The DWO is a little bit of a mute point for many here as it's one of the first mods to be done to the watch
I recommend budgeting on service, DWO and Crystal as per usual. Some things never change...

Will be good to see what they have changed and learned [and forgotten how to do..]

DW font is laughable! They are putting same DW on all their new date-just. Upcoming 41 date just will have same ridiculous date window.
its even thicker than their old DW.

For the dw of course they are throwing all in the datejust because they have plenty of stocks to clear before changing it to v2 the new dw. Haha

It will be a different datewheel/overlay on the 41 dj2 as the position is different to a standard 3135 position. Hopefully they will get it better!

Because you can PREORDER it and they will ship once in stock. The "sample" is just put together quickly.

Something that is nice about ARF is that they quietly update their watches with each batch. I do not think the 116610 officially had a V2, but it had the fat ugly DW font that eventually got fixed.

I really don‘t like the 12 o‘clock triangle marker on the dial. It is way too high. Should sit much lower with more distance to the rehaut.
Same problem as on their SD43.

Thanks, Rob. Subscribed as I have been patiently waiting for the SH3135 version. I actually already ordered from Sead last week, but he said let's wait for the actual release. I have read in another thread that this is not the smoke 116610LN SH3135 version that we hoped it to be. Curious if our earlier inputs were considered AND addressed by ARF like the bezel engravings of the left half "falling off" the inner diameter, etc. Looking forward to your review of the ACTUAL watch, Rob! Right now, it's totally pointless making an assessment based on the Puretime prototype.

I agree. This will have faults. It is a $500 dollar watch not a $10,000 Rolex. But I am very excited to see the upgrades that ARF has done.

The dial looks great. I do see the issue on the triangle at 12. Fixable by changing the dial. I would change the hands probably too. They look nice but the Lum will probably not be the same as a real dial. I can tell you the crown looks amazing. The CG's look good from the pic too. Bracelet looks good. I am hoping the crystal is good. bezel looks good but still a little deep on engraving. Never the less I look forward to throwing it on the timegrapher and see how the 3135 runs. Also would love to see the upgrades done.

smoke already did wrote in the other thread that its the same case like the 2824 they just put the 3135 in it, they dont want to make a "perfect" sub.
