Hi all,

Recently trying to mod my ARF DJ41 white SH3135 and GEN roulette dw. However I faced this problem, the date window doesn’t align with the DW. (See picture below)

So what’s next? A GEN Dial for a quick fix?

Also understood that the most common and cost efficient mod is use DWO on the A2824?

Unfortunately that is the wrong date wheel. You need a 3235, not 3135.

Well, alas, the 3135 datewheel will not be able to work with the dj41 dial. The date window is positioned further to the right than the dj36 or subs, gmt, etc (which would all work with the 3135).

Sorry man.

Means the GEN dial wont be able to fit the SH3135 too.....???

It will not,

The DJ41 dial diameter is bigger than the the 36mm...
That is why you need a 3235 date wheel installed as an overlay, and not a 3135.

Plus, let's take it further, why would you want to install a gen dial and then give it an obvious flaw? Roulette does not exist on DJ41.
I have the gen dial in mine and it is identical to the ARF, only the sunburst is better on the gen and the lume on the markers really.

Yes... gen dial is better too... you can get a gen dial, but it doesn't add THAT much its just you know... better. Id say the ARF dials are 95% as good... its not worth it in terms of money. But I like to do more etc...

Buy 3235 dw... genuine crystal b25
And put a gen ETA 2824 in it.

Watch for life.

My ARF dj41 rhodium jubilee has a weight of 127 g- gen
142 g...it doesn’t matter for me but can anybody confirm this? I don’t find a thread about it- is this the „normal“ deviation for rep`s?

How many people ask you to take off your watch and check the mass of it on a pair of scales? AND not only that, have the written down weight and/or the watch to compare vs?
Your question is pointless...

It also depends of the bracelet. How many links you have on the bracelet?

Watches with same number of links need to be compared

Pre 2016 the DJ36 had the 3135, post 2016 it comes with the 3235. The DJ41 didn't exist before 2016 and has always had the 3235 movement. The DJ2 although considered 41mm it is different than the true DJ41 and it also came with the 3136 movement and was produced from 2009 to 2015. There are a couple reps that come with the 3235 movement and I have tried but as of yet can not source just the movement from any TD's, yet. I too want to build a rep as accurate as possible.

Hope this helps, good luck.

Since I have a very large wrist, I have the full number of links (21 + 2 SEL), and I compared that with the Rolex specification

Yeah it is normal. Not sure exactly what makes this difference though.
