Stunning!

Apart from the date font being slightly bolder than gen, is it centered okay or are any of the digits slightly off center?

Also, I couldn't agree with you more. Your description perfectly describes my own feelings regarding the quality of the watch. Just amazing.

Looks beautiful. Your date font does not look too bad either. I am seriously holding back, but I can't anymore. I think I will place my order for the blue dial fluted oyster strap real soon. One in one out is my rule, so I am just trying to see if it makes sense for me to move out my ARF Sub for this DJ41 as I have nothing else to wear as a "beater"

Sure thing mate, thanks. I have seen other QCs and pics from other members, would like to see if ARF made any changes to the DW. As mentioned earlier in the thread, they did a decent DW on the SD43 which also has a 2824, so....the DW may vary...?

I double checked mine the past two days at 11:59pm, and the date does flip exactly at midnight. People were complaining about the movement and the instant date change, but this was a completely unfounded issue. I also tried to change the time manually -- again, instant flip at midnight.


Ultimately:
- Movement keeps great time, and the date flip is instant
- Finish and quality of the bracelet is absolutely amazing
- The SELs are just fine, and mine at least are very close to the gen (may need to QC)
- THE DW is centered and the crystal quality is great (again, need to QC)
- Dial color for the blue is very close to gen, and the sunburst effect is beautiful. The lume quality is amazing.
- The biggest negative is that the DW is bolder than it should be. With certain numbers, the boldness issue is more noticeable than others. With other numbers, it's not noticeable at all. On the wrist, it would be difficult to notice.

BlackJaguar those pics are making me want to replace my current DJII (i think its BP factory) and get this one. the pics look amazing!

the only gripe i have is the SEL, doesnt look gen-like

Pull the trigger! You won't regret it. I think the SEL issue can partially be addressed by QC'ing the issue.

Ultimately, you need to assess whether the ARF DJ 41 has more benefits than your current DJ II (note: measurements are different for the two watches: the DJ II is actually a 41mm dial, whereas the DJ 41 is a 40mm dial). Personally, other than the glaring DW issue, I think the ARF DJ 41 takes the cake. Coupled with the beautiful dial, and all the other benefits, I just can't see anyone going wrong with the ARF DJ 41.

If the benefit is there, pull the trigger. If not, then keep you current watch and wait until new release (so they fix the DW issue and maybe improve the SEL).

Love the new DJ ARF's but can only seem to find in fluted Bezel. Are they making a polished bezel for the 41mm or am I just not looking hard enough on Puretime et al. Any links appreciated to a polished bezel, Blue or Grey dial.

To date, I believe only the fluted bezel verizon has been released.

yeah i think i might keep my DJII, i want the bigger size (albeit 1mm)
