I just got my DJ41 Noob a few weeks ago. I couldn't wait any longer for an ARF, and now this! Sigh. FWIW I like my Noob. The REF seemed a little closer to retail but I coudln't get over the slow changing date.
I think I'll wait and see how the first reviews go for the ARF and then see if it's worth flipping mine. They gotta nail the DW font

No it doesn't fit. DJ41 has a 21mm lug width, Daytona and other 40mm models like sub/GMT etc have 20mm at the lugs
I do that care about the SH movement, for me they have been reliable. Guess it's luck. Movement wouldn't stop me from buying a super rep

just one question... i want it as silver dial.. noob or REF at the moment are the best... will ARF just make the blue dial or also the silver one?

Same. Silver Dial, fluted bezel, & diamond markers is my dream Datejust. Safe bet once they get the blue, & grey out there white, black, & silver won't be far behind.

ARF will release the 41mm DateJust soon.
Only correct maker in the market, and will use 904L steel as usual.
The black dial one, only ARF make it correct, dark rhodium dial, not all black dial.
Looking forward to it!

by the way, on Genuine steel case version of this watch, isn’t the fluted bezel material Platinum?

I agree. I had 3 SH movements and even after service and cleaning them they didn’t last. I’d have to replace many parts and drop around $700+ on parts just to make them run again... but for how long they gonna run.There are too many flaws in those movements.

IMO, the ARF datejust 41 will 99.9% likely come with an ETA (clone) movement
IMO, there is no particular incentive for ARF to clone a 3235 now; and there is absolutely no logical reason for ARF to use the 3135 clone movement in the datejust 41:
1. the gen (datejust 41) uses 3235 movement and not a 3135
2. the ETA movement's hands rotate anticlockwise when the crown is rotated clockwise. This feature is exactly the same as the 3235 movement
3. by now, ARF has been releasing various reps with 2824-2 (i.e. milgauss, yachtmaster rose gold two-tone, 116610 sub, and 126600 sea dweller) so they are comfortable in manufacturing reps with the 2824-2 movement
4. using the ARF milguass as an example, the 2824-2 variant is much cheaper than their 3132 variant (the 3132 is analogous to the 3135). ARF can be saving cost and build a more-accurate and reliable datejust 41, using an ETA movement instead of the 3135.
Therefore, i am pretty certain that ARF will definitely not use the SH 3135 movement in their upcoming datejust 41.
But of course... ARF can decide to go off the tangent and surprise us with a 3235 clone movement. But last time REF did that, the results were bad.
