Maybe its me but the more I see this pic...Oyster bracelet with the fluted bezel makes the watch look cleaner and dressier. Jubilee makes it too sporty (which is what the DJ is not intended for).

I like both. I do however think that jubilee is the more dressier bracelet and oyster more sporty.

Maybe the Submariners has put a "sport" stamp on oyster bracelets for me :)

I mean its all personal.

But Jubilee has bling, has style, has a jewellery feel to me. It's way more dressy than an Oyster, but again it's all personal. But I would be willing to be on average, most people would think the Jubilee is the more dressy of the two.

Either way, it's no biggy lol. Wear what makes you happy! Only us watch idiots care anyway :p haha

Literally never heard that theory. You sure you didn't mean that the other way around?

I differ from popular opinion here. The jubilee is too busy, too many up/downs and too many holes around. The lines of croc leather (which is the only way I would wear my dress watches) and flat profile is closer to the oyster for me.

I dont think it’s subjective but rather objective that jubilee has a dressier vibe. Try imagine a seadweller with a jubilee and you immediately think it’s odd. Oyster does not add much sportier connotation to me. It’s just not as bling and dressy as a jubilee. It’s more versstile for sure
