Im placing an order for the 116621 black dial. I am impressed with VRF's quality. Plan to swap the dial however, because the red "YACHT-MASTER" text above "SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER", and also add a gen crystal. Other than that the watch is perfect. I started a thread on it yesterday (to which no one replied) because I couldn't find a started thread initially, but today this thread popped up.
Sunburst is brilliant, at times indoor lighting you do get a small hint of purple but it changes quickly with light angle on it. Hard to explain

Sounds like its close to gen to me. Even gen has that angle where its slight purple indoors on brown lighting. But white light its sure blue.

The watch is amazing. Only problem I see is the dark "YACHT-MASTER" text, it should be a few shades lighter red.

I am sourcing a spare dial from this WF 116655, different model, but same dial as the one present on the 116621. - http://www.trustytime.biz/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10&products_id=18400
Just didn't gel with it, keep getting sucked back to my Daytona and subs. Although I have had second thoughts to hold on to it.
Overall fit and finish is just amazing.
I usually have few watches incoming every month, so I'd try different models.

Those YM by VRF are truly amazing. If they did slightly brighter YM wording on the dial this would be almost perfect!
i don’t see ARF beating VRF YM. They will probably end up using shitty DW font and I can bet magnification won’t be as close as VRF.
It will be interesting to see comparasion. I have feeling VRFvwill come on top.

VR maker did a stunning job, ordered a brown dial 116621 from Angus yesterday!

I was stuck between the blue dial 116622 and the brown suburst 116621, but picked the 116621 because they got the RG color correct and I love the two tone look.

Agree with you. I have most of my reps form arf and subs in particular have shitty DW init.
Both my VRf hulk and YM have perfect DW .
The only flaw in my view is the crystal which much be changed to professor black hole or gen .
Red text is faint in low lighting but does come out when light catches it .
Blue is mesmerising.
