Franken 116610LN Project Almost Finished

Well I had a perfect V6S, but I wanted 904L steel, so I embarked on a Franken quest. First I was able to acquire a gen crystal here on RWI, then came the gen ceramic LN insert, then came the gen DW, and finally a few weeks later a gen 166110LN Dial.

From there I was out to find the ARF 904 model, but couldn't find one as TD's were out and the V2 hadn't launched yet, and almost no one sells the 3135 version M2M as the covet them lol.

I did find a really nice brand new Noob V9 904 that was one of the better ones I have seen. A true V9 and in mint condition with the 3135 movement.

I sent this out to a modder and here is the result. An amazingly beautiful Franken. Next I will be getting some case work done to improve the SEL fitment and overall appearance of the case and bracelet. I also managed to get an ARF 904 bracelet that should be here soon, so when I receive that it will be going out for modifications to fit perfectly with the Noob case and clasp. That is, unless the V2 ARF clasp is better than the Noob V9, lol.

Is a v2 ARF on the horizon? Angus mentioned they will be putting an SA3150 movement in the next release, but won’t be calling it a v2.

plus labor

Parts alone as is $2,400.00 and I will be adding a gen crown. So that's between $100-$150 more.

I will also probably look to get the SEL fitment cleaned up, and I have an ARF 904 bracelet on order ($96.00)

So with labor and all parts will be close to $3K

I have approved the QC, but I don't have it yet as it was part of a larger order and I am still waiting on a few pieces before it ships. I will post once I receive it.
