hi guys just thought I'd share my results with the known issue of the buzzsaw bezel on the SD43. My hytrel gasket was damaged by the factory during installation and by bezel was pretty much popping off. I'm trying to get a new bezel retaining gasket but still waiting a response. I assume if I can't get this part thecwstch is useless lol. Anyway I thought while the bezel was off I'd machine it to reduce the deep scallops.
I machined 0.15 off the OD face and .012 off the chamfered polished face but at an angle to not disturb the overall hight. That would obviously leave the ceramic sitting too high. Anyway here's how it looks
