Hi gentlemen,

I'd like a second opinion on this watch:

https://imgur.com/a/RLD53UI

I am honestly probably being picky but you guys have taught me a lot and hopefully I'm not pointing out something that has no error.

I understand that QCing is against the rules but I was instructed that asking for a second opinion is not (if this is incorrect I will delete the thread immediately).

1. The top of the bracelet, on the left appears to have a gash and it looks as if the bracelet is peeling?

2. Ring around the pearl towards the top looks to be dented as well

3. 6 o'clock appears very close to the "Swiss Made" and the 9 o'clock seems lower than is should be / unaligned

4. Scratches / scuffs present on the crown guard

Thank you very much in advance!

Since in your three days you learned alot let me teach you something new.

you cant wear a new watch without removing the protective film from the braclet or any other part of the watch case for that matter...

A few things to point out. Insert seems abit dirty or not even. Alignment of the 12 marker, crown on the rehaut and 12 o clock marker doesnt seem aligned. Hard to tell from the photo.

movement make sure is the SH3135, not the SA3135. You will have trouble with the SA3135. SH3135 can be converted to gen. SA3135 is difficult to mod.

You're right it isn't aligned -- don't know how i missed that..

The watch uses a A2824 as I was told that is more reliable?

Here is a pic of the movement stats:

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this watch.

Yes there is clear plastic on the bracelet, but it is removable if you don't like it.

There is no dent in the pearl surround.

Yes the insert is dirty - but you could clean it when it arrives.

No, there are no scratches on the crown guards.

LOL at the comments on the 3135 movement.

I was going to delete this thread, but I'll leave it up as a lesson in what happens when there's nothing wrong with the watch but you post your QC pics anyway.

Thanks lesson learned. Appreciate all the feedback / input from everyone and will do more research before I post going forward.

^^ a perfect example of why sharing QC pics asking for opinions is bad. This watch does not exist with either the SA or SH3135 movements - so adding error and confusion where none existed before helps no one.

My apologies on the 3135 comments as i am not aware of ARF movements. I dont buy from that factory as i know most of thier movements are not exactly the same as gen. But the more accurate movement for the rolex sea dweller is a 3135. I am more of a franken geek when watch is concerned. I make my own gen 3135 movements and get gen parts to swap them out.

personal preferences if you dont mind a none gen movement.

And even after being told you're wrong, you're still wrong - the real 43mm SeaDweller has the 3235 movement, which has the same time set direction as the 2428 - so the SA/SH3135 would be a wrong movement to use in every way. Its also the same size as the 2428, so crown position etc is right as well. You do not 'make' your own 'gen' 3135 movements.
