Hello,
I just purchased a Dssd in M2M but I have a "problem" .The crown is not in the center .It is a tad to the left and not countersunken. Is there a way to fix this problem.Maybe machine it out to the left and then fill it up with marine epoxy? I want to waterproof it .But I am scared that it is putting stress on the weak sa3135 stem.My watchmaker is currently serving it.
thanks to the community.

crown depth looks OK to me (countersinkedness)
it does look like it sits a little low but im thinking its the way the crown guards are cut , not the way it was actually drilled

Can you post a pic with the crown pulled out? The tube is off center left, and maybe not countersunk by a slight amount. I would not touch this for cosmetic improvement, suggest getting a WP test on it with the movement out of course. It looks like the crown could be sealed just fine. Test it and see.
