ARF 126600 HEV valve

Decided to take a look at the HEV valve on the sd today. Very impressed at the quality of these reps today and the lengths they have come.

Broken down it looks constructed as gen. As far as functionality maybe who knows I can’t be sure. Looks as if it is functional. I’ll never be at depths as a diver with the watch that it will matter.

Refinished the valve. Less rounded now. Flat like gen. Color is darker as well

Did you unscrew it from the inside to get it out? What did you refinish it with? Just buff it out? Color looks much better.

Used 2k sandpaper on a block to keep it flat

Big improvements over the "old days" when the HEV could be depressed from the OUTSIDE of the case!
