Hey y'all I recently picked up a JKF 1680 red sub.
The watch is great and I'm ready to do some mods, but I'm having trouble figuring something out about the bracelet. The watch came with the 93250 bracelet with hollow midlinks. I understand that this is not period correct. I understand that the period correct bracelet would be either the 9315 with folded and hollow midlinks, or the 93150 with solid mid links. My question is that which rep bracelet version has the best feel and weight? Would I be able to use the 580 SEL with either of them? I really don't like the feel of the current 93250 bracelet. It's very light and feels super fake. If I went with a rep 9315 would it feel the same way? Is the 93150 the best way to go? If so, who makes the best version? Thanks y'all!

I'm not sure what the JKF bracelet looks like. A 93250 should have SEls- solid end links which are attached to the bracelet. If they come off, they're detachable which isn't correct. The hollow mid links are correct. A 93150 with hollow mid links and 580 end pieces (detachable) is correct for a 1680 sub. You won't be able to find a rep 9315 bracelet- I'm not sure they even exist. A gen 9315 could set you back $1500 easily if you can find one. It looks to me like some of Trustytimes sub have the 93150 bracelet with the rep 580 end pieces- a good start and then you can buy the better more correct end pieces from WSO. Good luck, it's not easy to come up with a decent 93150/580 combo these days. Also, a rivet 7206 could work- 80 end pieces would be correct on that bracelet and would be for a 1969 red sub- when they first came out.

Ok perfect! This is exactly what I was looking for! It came with a 93250 bracelet with detachable SEL. I will try to find a 93150 bracelet to go along with this. I just hope aftermarket ones feel more solid than the JKF one!

Rolex bracelets, especially the older ones do tend to feel flimsy. It sounds like your 93250 is somewhat ok- just incorrectly marked.

In my parent's basement
9135 links look a bit different than 91350 links, and obviously the clasp is different. I would go with the 9135
