Maybe rolex did some custom work? Saw some pictures of a famous german music producer with the same SEL.

Check this:

This was short after the ice blue was released and that watch is gen. Same SEL as Noob and ARF very strange

More close ups:

it has the same dial as noob with "no subdial bursts" so maybe there was the first version with other SELs + non suburst subdials.

Same Color as the noob one.

Edit: Ok did some research it looks like Rolex itself did an advertisment on the show (which is ridiclious but who knows) and they "gifted" him the watch to wear it in the show. So its 100 % gen (if you look at the color you can easily see that this is indeed platinium). So there was one version with the SELs like that so maybe other countrys got the same? Who knows.

btw. he changed to diamond version a few years later:

With the right SEL so it looks indeed that they are 2 versions.

That first version also doesn't have the lugs it has now either - it has the normal bracelet version lugs, not the ones that slope down at the end like the PM on strap models (which the platinum bracelet version has) . Maybe a prototype

This is groundbreaking news! The ARF ice blue dial has individual subdial sunbursts! Also, the case shape on a precious metal Daytona is different from SS. This case looks good. I'll post a pic of that later.

Ok what is really strange that the case of the picture above looks not like the gen one (look the insert etc). Very strange.

Michael Jordans Ice Blue also have not the standard SELs?

Here is a pic of current gens 116500 (SS) on top, and 116519 (white gold) on bottom. This new ice blue ARF side view looks more like the gen 116519 (white gold) to me.

I m generally an ARF fan,but i see no reason here changing the noob dial to ARFs.
Everybody kept commenting about Noobs dark subdials,Noobs subdials are way lighter and more correct colorwise.

ARF gets the poing for the sunburst but other than that there is nothing more to the dial.

there are much more important things to be fixed in both watches before we even mention which dial etc is chronologically correct...

Or pay 500USD (the Noob is 600USD BTW ;) ) and have a dial that looks even worse. im not gonna talk about the rest of the flaws the ARF has judging from PTs pictures. :hehehe:

100USD difference for an aestheticically better and nicer watch with a WORKING Chrono movement. It’s your money ;)

I personally like the ARF Dial better. Both are far from gen and I don’t use the chrono so I don’t care.

Ah ok the price was higher before (maybe its an TD thing no idea) but as for the dial, the ARF looks spot on i saw the Gen a few weeks ago so it looks way better than noob. Because noob really looks greenish as hell (even more greenish than my cheap one lol).

I would not recommened any of the 2 watches because nobody knows how the movements are working on a long period of time, i saw a lot of 6@ A7750 failing and for the noob nobody knows how good it works anyway.

But seriously how many times do you use a chrono? I have like a few in all these years maybe 2 times lol. Noob with ARF Dial would be an awesome watch, look in the other thread which somebody posted his noob watch he did change the dial aswell.

And yes ARF is overpriced (noob too but they have a working movement) its the same shit with the 15202.

You’re officially on crack. Both dials resemble gen spec dial variations. And both are not 100% perfect. You critisize the thin subs of the Noob yet worship the ARF dial when it has even thinner subs, do you even think about the bs you post before you post it? Yikes
