ARF is my go to for 36mm 6 digit Datejusts. I've got an 116200 I have frankened and one of their 116201's on the way I'm going to add gen dial, hands and datewheel to.

Do you know if the movement accepts the dial without cutting the dial's legs? if so, it might be an awesome project.

Yes, the SH3135 accepts gen dial and hands without any modifications. Datewheel requires some minor tweaking to fit 100%, but overall it's a great watch and super easy to turn into a franken.

ARF is the generally accepted best replica of a 36mm DJ, outside of a Franken DJ. Once I saw one of those with the authentic dial and crystal, I was sold. I'd rather pay $700+ ish for a Franken that looks perfect.

Do you know if the SA3135 accepts a gen dial?

ARF is the go to right now, im thinking of pulling the trigger on one with an oyster bracelet but i would say swap the dw for a noob or a gen dw as the font is too thick

I used to hate the thick font. Now, I realize that often people don't want to pay $200 for a gen date wheel when they get their watch serviced and they use an aftermarket dw with that font anyway, so it's not a calloutable offense necessarily. I find it easier to read, too , so that's a plus.
Ok maybe I'm rationalizing why I'm too cheap to upgradeupgrade, but that's my story and iim sticking to it????

Franken just means replacing rep parts with genuine ones on your watch. There are lots of modders who offer this service, check under the supporting vendors section on the home page.

If I went for the ARF, external parts would be the last thing I change, as it already looks amazing out of the box.

I would get two genuine Rolex 3135 reversing wheels and send the movement for a full service and replacement of the rep wheels for the genuine.
