The 2836 gmt has always been pretty reliable. I’ve never had a problem with them anyway. There’s an absolute ton of gen bezel assemblies out there for this watch. Some at super good prices. Gen assembly and crystal and it’s a really good watch.

So far I know CHS isn't possible with the 2836

Yes if you want correct handstack you have to go with the A3186/3187 but in terms of reliability and spare parts the ICHS movements are at the moment the better choice
