Anyone bought JF 16610LV Kermit recently?

Here. Looks really awful. But im changing the DW so it doesnt matter to me.
where do u find a replacement date wheel? Is the replacement something I can do myself?
I dont recommend doing it yourself. Send it to a watchsmith. The genuine datewheel can be found on ebay

Here's a post on adjusting a datewheel, install of a DWO would be same deal. You have to take the movement out and remove the dial and hands. The 3135 has some peculiarities, there are many posts about datewheels on that movement

For the past few days I've been looking at getting a better DWO given that everyone says the JF datewheel is shocking, but today I've been comparing the stock JF datewheel on my watch with examples of the Gen on Chrono 24 and I honestly can't see much in it. Admittedly I have dreadful eyes, so what is it about the JF that's so bad?
I've tried to take a pic to illustrate. The Kermit is the Gen on Chrono 24 (and is representative of all the Gens on the website - I've just used that particular watch to compare as it's got today's date on it), my JF is the Shark. To those of you with trained eyes, is my JF so bad and if so, why? The only difference I can see, which is all but invisible on the wrist, is the Gen has a tiny line at the end of the font as if written with a calligraphy pen/fountain pen whereas the JF doesn't. It's there more to it? Because if that's all it is, it's very livable with on the wrist.

The font is too bold. If you cant see it, it means you can live with it. I cant, so i gotta change the DW. It costs about usd150 to 200 on ebay now. Sometimes it pops up in the sales section too.

Thank you. The examples that other people have posted further up the page look too bold to me. My shark looks the same as the Gen Kermit in my eyes; just the right thickness! The joys of having shit eyes!

Ah, just noticed your second post. Perhaps it's not my eyes and I did indeed get lucky then. Ta.
Being a little too bold is not something that would bother me; being off center (especially when some numbers are centered and some are not) and weird spacing between the numbers bothers me, so I had to have mine replaced (it's with a watch smith having an eBay $29 date wheel installed - I'll post pics when it comes back).
On another note, Puretime sent me QC pics of the watch on an analyzer showing 7 seconds per day accuracy and .1ms beat error, but when I put it on my analyzer I got 35 seconds per day and .6ms beat error (and when timed over the course of 2 days it was 35 seconds per day).

I bought one of these from Marvellous at the end of July and I seem to have the same improved DW as GingerBubba. I've been comparing with lots of pics on chrono24 and I can't see any difference at all.

I purchase it 2 months ago and the JF factory DW font was bold as usual. I got myself a gen Xtal no AR + LEC and gen DW. The gen DW was not working properly without any mobbed. Then I bought VR3135 to replaced it. The VR3135 DW was really good.

I have one coming at the end of September according to my TD, have a BK DWO here and hope it can be glued on top of the rep datewheel when getting the movement serviced.
