OK... So I'm about to pull the trigger on the Noob v2 116500 with the white dial. I've noticed ARF now as a v2 with the 4130. Looks like 13mm thickness too. This is my first post. How does the v2 ARF stack up against the noob v2 116500?

Anyone know which TD I can source the 116500 arf dial and bezel from?

Noob 116500 - 7.5" wrist...yes I am freakin sold on this particular 40mm watch. On the wrist I am seriously not seeing the need to replace either the dial or the bezel but I understand those who are driven to that level of perfection =) Probably the most excited I have been for a watch since the SD43 release and that had way more flaws to deal with imo.

Thanks again to everyone who chipped in and ultimately convinced me to pick this up =)

I think that's the whole point of this thread, to read it and decide.

No I got you- but it seems a lot of the talk is for the ARF v1 with the non-function chrono. Now that it has the 4130 and the thickness is slimmer... which would you go for?

The chrono is still non-functional in the ARF to my knowledge - just didn't want you misunderstanding the 4130 differences between the Noob and ARF.

It's not ARF, I think it is noob but the old 7750 version.

You can tell by the 116520 font on the dial

74 pages, and it's not the only thread … in a world full of submariners, where everywhere you see that distinguishable timekeeper, and everybody is a diver, now I see a future full of daytonas...
The last noob is not bad at all. Unfortunately It's too difficult and expensive to have a good rep, and I see few tells even in my superfranken …

beautiful watch. I have a gen 116523 2tone daytona and when I see the frankens 116520, I can say that they look like a real deal...
I absolutely have to build one!And about the tells in your franken ,are you talking about the sels? Cuz I can’t spot any other from this pic...

ARF does not have a 4130 despite what many TD sites claim. It is a modified (slimmed) 7750 with a useless decorator plate to make it look like a 4130.

Thank you for clarifying that. Kinda figured it was odd to have a 4130 yet it still doesn't function. Looks like I'll get the Noob V2.

Can anyone report on their results having the Noob 4130 or the ARF pressure tested for water resistance? Anyone showering with either of these specific reps??
