They must see you coming pal. You must also be as good at doing deals as you are at reading. I initially said i've seen them go for as low as $16900 / £13k I never mentioned $16k. I also showed you three places which all have them for sale right now for the equivalent of between $18k to $18.5k both in the UK and USA.....a huge saving. You said initially you were struggling to find the watch "anywhere upwards of $24000" the definition of "upwards of" or correct me if i'm wrong is greater than / in excess of. I was only trying to show where to get one cheaper that is all. You have found one today for $22000 so guess your making progress.
Totally agree the noob clone movement is a huge leap and an amazing milestone. Ive never ever said otherwise.
That picture that you posted of the ceramic Daytona with black dials I could tell all day long. They are far too big, magnified or not on a small 40mmm watch it looks out of proportion and wrong no matter how you look at it. Granted some of the new versions do look better, but the ones in the images you posted sorry but I can tell.
What does it matter anyway if your happy with the watch and you cant tell the difference thats all that matters wear it and enjoy it and ill stick to wearing and enjoying my gen black face 116520.

Toaday I have received 2 noob 116520 in black. Both are V2 versions. Ordered 3 weeks ago and received QC 2 days later.
SEL on both watches is good, no gaps. So they must have improved the quality on it. The printing on the dial is much better then V1, fonds are still off. Now the subdials are not even close to the gen. Color is not right and the size is too big. When I compare it with my 116520 in white, the subdials are much better on the white one. Size and color are 100 %gen. So if you do not want to franken it, go with the 116520 in white. Lume on all Noob watches is same as gen on holds over night. To me, the noob ceramic bezel is still the best.The ss bezel could be improoved but for the beginning it is ok. There are good quality ss aftermarket bezel available for $75. Check the latest picture with the quality of the ceramic bezel.
One point I have to made. When I got the 116500 black ceramic, the bezel was misaligned. After we changed the rep dial to a gen dial, the missalignment was gone. Sounds to me, that noob receives the case already assembled.

Totally agree with you. White face from what i've seen is for me the only one worth buying if your not going to franken it. The sub dials are huge compared to gen especially on black versions for some reason. Even to the eye anyone who knows a daytona will tell its off. It obviously looks worse magnified but to me the fatter sub dials just look so out of place and change the whole look of the watch.
Nice to see improvements happening so fast though certainly interesting times in the replica daytona world.

been away from rep game for 2 years. I’m so excited about 4130 clone and wanted to pull the trigger. It’s too bad that noob’s dial looks like it has extra chromosome. I think the sub dials rings are too thick.
Noob’s dial looks to me as fake as the cheapest Daytonas...

Exactly. I'm not highlighting the faults just to annoy people that have bought it, nor am I an ARF fanboy (I made it pretty clear I refuse to buy a watch with stuck on subdial hands) but the hope is somehow this will be fed back in to noob and they will improve it, or it will alert potential buyers and help them build a closer to perfect watch.
The movement is amazing but the price of gen parts is much higher on this than a sub or datejust for example, which makes it prohibitive for as many to go the Franken route as the watch deserves.

I have to side with guru on this one. Lets get serious for a moment here. We're talking about $15k plus gen watch price range.You're buying perfect platform from Noob to be able to Franken your watch however you want for about $650.00. Either you spend $900 or $7k on gen parts is up to you.
