It's extremely hard to know that it's 904L or 316L steel SUB from Noob maker on your wrist.

Only can recognize by the plastic stickers? If some one change it before ship out, you can never know.

Noob 316L and 904L subs is 99.9% same, only weight difference, but we can hardly have both watches.

There is a way to separate them, by opening the caseback :)

The 904L SUB inner case has little irregularity rectangle :)

The 904L caseback has a unique scale by Noob maker :)

But there is almost no difference between 316L and 904L bracelet, we can only pray TDs didn't change the stickers...

My personal rule is, don't pay extra for 904, and don't buy a clone movement. I value reliability and am not extremely picky about microscopic details, however the watch must tell the time reliably, its core function.
I'm an out of the box guy, not interested in modding.

If it's a Hulk you're interested in it really makes no difference - the insert is a million miles away from the real thing, so every other fault is macroscopic in comparison.
