Received my Explorer earlier this week and am decided if I like it as much as my 1026. &14270.

I am finding it to be heavy and the bracelet and clasp dig into my wrist which can be uncomfortable in this hot weather. Even with the easy link

So swapped it to a nato. Which was more comfortable but kinda bland.

This morning I was thinking that I’ve seen swap their oyster bracelets on their BLNR’s to jubilee. But have yet to see anyone try it on the explorer

Low and behold. My 455 end links for pretty good on the case. It gives the watch a different look and feel and to me is the most comfortable of the 3 options I’ve tried so far.

Not sure if I’m the first to try it but here it is. Comments always welcome.

I've seen an Explorer on a Jubilee before. Absolutely dig the look. Would've added an ARF Jubilee to my Explorer as well but I'm unable to get accustomed to the lack of date hence it must go.

To the issue of the bracelet not being the most comfortable in the heat, I recently bought an Everest rubber strap. Another option for you to look at.

It's much nicer in feel than a gen Panerai rubber strap which cost the same. Or one could buy a 200$ 904L ARF Jubilee over the rubber strap.

I personally love rubber straps. The Everest is the nicest aftermarket option for Rolex. End link fit is snug and the rubber itself is very very soft with multiple strap holes for the perfect fit.
