Yes, unfortunately. Its plated steel, it feels like plated steel ( but looks like real gold )

The gen has a certain heft to it that you really can't describe, even though this is a strap model it still feels heavy. The rep does not feel so light though, and on the wrist it will be hard to tell. Don't sweat it

I just want to make sure because yours looks amazing and i want to go one for a while now but I was concerned about the strap not fitting my wrist.

2824 model...however, the 3135 should be identical on the wrist. I chose the 2824 because from what I can tell, its more reliable than the 3135 OR it requires cheaper maintenance...depending on how you look at it. But I dont intend to franken this one. If I did, then I'd go for the 3135.

If you're new to the hobby and just want something good out of the box, the 2824 may require less servicing...but like everything in this hobby YMMV

Yeah, I’m new to the hobby and I love it. The quality is amazing. I have a gen Rolex but I got my first rep two weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing!

sh3135 movements are total garbage! They don’t last even after service unless you drop $400 or more on parts to maintain it.

Besides the DW issue, any reason I should pick ARF over Noob? they both look pretty damn good, but is ARF of higher quality?

the small rubber strap is really my biggest issue with this one, other wise i would have gotten it already. still waiting for someone who actually received the watch to tell me that the strap is good and not small.

how bad are the SH3135? i just ordered the two tone RG yacht master black dial with sh3135 and now u got me worry lol.

You might be able to pick up a gen insert on ebay. Grabbed mine for a decent price a couple weeks back.

Do you know which version it was for? Intime just told me after a month that the 2824 is out of stock and that I should order the SH3135.
