Noob DateJust II movement - 3235 clone or decorated 2836?

Looking to get a DateJust II and wanting an asian 28xx I went looking at different websites.

Intime's website shows one, grey dial with jubilee bracelet, and in the description the movement is described as "base" 2836 decorated to look like a 3235.

Sead has one on his UK list - he says it's a 3235 clone (and not a 28xx).

Trustytime has only watches with 3235 clone as the movement description.

Does anyone know whether this DateJust II is offered by Noob in both 3235 clone and 28xx (which s what it looks like to me)? Or are they all 3235's and Intime's description is just incorrect?

Thank you!

There is no 3235 clone. All a3235 are decorated movements.

You should check TD's websites... They claim that the movement is a clone, not a decorated one.

Remember the SH3135, everyone thought at the time that it was the same as the SA. What a surprise when someone on RWI found out that it was, in fact, a yuki movement, gen spec.

Supposedly it’s the new clone. I ordered one. Have some gen parts for the movement and a set of gen hands. I’ll see how it works out and let you guys know.

From the limited info that’s out on it and from what I can see. Don’t think it’s a true clone like the sh3135. Hopefully it at least takes gen hands and a gen datewheel. Hopefully a stable movement as well.

From the photos on the puretime link above, the movement is a miyota 9015 with modified/decorated bridges. You can tell from the real balance regulator under the decoration. Same thing they did with the PF Nautilus movement, modified bridges don't make a movement a clone. The SA4130 and SH3135 are the only clones to my knowledge.

Would it be a bad thing if this movement were a Miyota 9015? I'd think it to be a good thing unless you were going to franken it/try to show off the movement: 9015's are well respected.

It's a good thing when it is listed as a decorated miyota 9015, and not like a clone movement with a higher price tag.
