ARF 37 Yachtmaster woke me

Its not the 904 steel or the perfect glass. Not the gen like bracelet attached to the beautiful clasp. Not even the black hole effect. Its the size. It woke me. I was in a illusion that i had a big wrist. Wearing nothing but submariners. I have a wrist of a 12 yr old child. 6.25 give and take. When i started to wear this watch it felt like it was fitted for me. Like a bespoke suit. Perhaps im just in a honeymoon phase with my new yachtmaster and nothing can go wrong. Just like having a new girlfriend for the first 6 months. I realised that when a watch fits it shows all its perfections. For example, i see how tapered the bracelet really is when you dont have to take out 3 or 4 links. It makes a big difference when you dont have to take away from its original design. Seeing the rolex ads I noticed that the face of the watch never covers the whole wrist. There is emphasis to show the bracelet on top of the wrist also. In my opinion i believe that this is how it was designed to wear. Maybe im wrong but it feels right. Especially on my little wrist.

Yeah, there's something to be said about having the right proportions on your watch. I too have tiny wrists and the DJ36 has quickly become a favorite of mine because of the fit.

I’m about to have to get one of these ordered. Do you recommend the ARF over Noob?

I read that noob is a great watch. My td Sead recommended me the arf because of the 904 steel and my wrist size plays a factor also. I'm grateful to have Sead on my side.

What size is your wrist? I’m trying to decide between the 37 and 40

Thanks! I like to bring up that it does bring a lot of attention. I never get any compliments on my subs even the hulk. But for some reason I've had several compliments on this watch. Perhaps it's the bracelet. It's like if you mixed the submariner and the datejust it will end up looking like 37 yachtmaster lol.

Here is my noob v7 for wrist size comparison..I have a flat wrist so I can get away with it. But after wearing the arf 37 it's too big now.

I am so torn between the 37 and the 40. I can normally pull off wearing a 39mm with a 47 lug-to-lug diver because although my wrist is small (6.2"), my hand is bigger than average and I heard the YM 40 wears smaller due to its curvy case so I think I will be fine. On the other hand, there are not that many 37-38mm divers out there, this might be a good chance to try one.
