1) has a gen dial, xtal and insert, I am not sure about the case - it looks like an eta case

2) as per the blurred photo the dial looks like a gen, without the photo in a focus it's little hard to tell more.

As i would like to demostrate...
They are both gen and the same watch before and after rolex service(xtal swapped).
We are obsessed about details that we can call rep when it's gen.

It should be refreshing if we can have more gen/rep challenges like that.

What do you think about the post-service xtal? It does not seem to have 2.5 cyclops.

that post service xtal is nasty. I picked up a gen xtal m2m without the 2.5x last year - looks terrible

I was about to get a genuine Hulk the other day but the cyclops magnification was maybe X2 or less, could not help looking at it so I passed... it was a used Hulk from 2013

We are obsessed about the perfect magnification, sels on a 350€ rep when a lot of 9000€ gen's are in the same situation.

I'll totally buy that.

ROLEX makes a great watch, but not a perfect watch. Some watches with QC issues inevitably make it through, even for them.

Where Reps lag miles behind for me remains the movement. If they improve reliability there, it's game, set and match!

I have a gen and i love it.
Despite that some reps have reached top levels and we are looking for gen quality on a 1:10 priced rep..
That's what i'm noticing here

Agreed. That's why the SH3135s, despite being improved over previous Chinese clone attemps, still need a good cleaning and service. But you have to admit, they are getting closer all the time.
