This is suppose to be the 2824 version.

Good idea I’ll ask if I can see a photo of the 28 date position.

sorry for the newbie question but how do you fix a wonky cyclops issue later down the track?

thanks again for your help guys

Caseshape looks completly different then the versions ive seen before thats why i asking :D and you can heat the cyclops and then glue it right on the crystal. I ask because the numbers and caseshape looks like 3135

what do you guys mean by wonky cyclops it looks fine imo?

misaligned cyclops

Just an update for the purchase from Chazetime for 116610 AR a2824

Received QC on 28 Nov afternoon
Requested for further QC on 28 Nov afternoon
Provided with updated QC photos at night
Accepted QC on 29 Nov mid-night

Since I cannot post the QC I will just update from here.

Requested for
1. Lume shot
2. Few dates
3. Rehaut

Noticed:
1. Good lume
2. Rehaut is aligned perfectly (if not by 0.05mm from the big triangle, otherwise, wont bd able to see from naked eyes.
3. Date is good, I requested specifically for few dates: 12, 3, 26, 22. Only 12 has a slight mis-alignment with 12's 2 being a bit slended but it's super minor as well.
4. Bracelet/ clasp: from the photo, it has the "space" between the safety fold and the clasp which I believe is more close to the Gen?
5. Lug: I noticed a slight gap from the lower lugs but that might be just by slight which doesn't bother me at all.

I have accepted QC and all and all CT has met with the expected timeframe as what I have learnt from other threads that they might have some delays/ slow response but which isn't for my case.

Waiting for delivery and update u guys soon!

did they change the case? or is it just the pictures?
I hope it's just the photo, but honestly I don't think it's that noticeable on wrist. Will HV to see in person. Confirmed shipment info provide by tmr.

Hi all,

I'm currently debating purchasing the A2824 vs the SH3135. There was a fair but of hype on the forums about the SH3135 but that seems to have died down a fair bit, would this indicate that the A2824 is still the better of the two?

Overall I just want to have a good quality rep, potential of light mods in the future with a movement that won't be a pain to fix if it goes wrong. What is the general recommending consensus?

Thanks

I'd say 2824 for now. Wait for arf to release an SH model with an updated case, or for Noob V-whatever to have the SH movement. If you want to mod later with gen parts you can sell the 2824 for pretty much what you paid for it minus shipping.

From my understanding the ARF SH model has a horrible date wheel = $150-200 extra right there, you have to service it quickly $150, then add any additional mods. Plus they did not fix the case aspects that the 2824 model suffers from to fit in the movement.

2824 out of the box is great.

Who can tell anything abot the 2824 movement? Does it work out of the box or did you all check-up at the watchsmith?

You should do some reading mate. There's lots of information on movements here and the 2824 is one of the most common
