I am new to this hobbie and I think 99% of the general public wouldn't be able to tell but to any members or clued up watch people would be able to tell but I also think they would need to be close to the watch if it was on your wrist I think it would be hard to tell but then again I could be wrong as I am new to all this .
on receiving my watch I really can't see the flaws in real time. When you look at oversized picture on the computer you can see them and make them seem worse than thay are .

Look at the not rounded markers + blue hue magnification = Instant tell.
Its a shame they should use BP dials that would fix so much.

have read this comment from you again m8, had a bp no date, dial was good but still 6 and 9 was not rounded
can you link a pic with a bp dial like this?

The old modified 2813 BPs from lucy had rounded markers.
I dont know if the thread still does exist after all the hacking and stuff but i ask a friend he still have the watch with the perfect markers will edit the post later or make a new one.

how much is a gen crystal and how hard is it to do yourself if youve never messed with watches before?
$350 US roughly. And you should have a pro do it, you can mess up the bezel insert and crystal itself, shouldn't be more than $40-50 to install locally.

Blister is just the name of the packaging, so it’s their way of saying it’s New.
