I'm still not sure wich Sub i take ...
Noob v9 or ARF.

Evertime i read the topic of the ARF i want to buy it ... And i when i read the noob ... I want to buy the v9

Not a easy choice !

From that i read, ARF has wrong DW , wrong mag AR

​​​Noob wrong indices with too thick surronding , bezel are less white.

QC on noob are maybe better , i see a lot of ARF who has been rejected... (Bezel cracks , Bad alignment ...)

I'm right ?
did you see more inputs ?

And what about the movement , ARF has the 2824, did this mouvement has the instant date flip ?
Noob has the 2836 or 3135, both has it.

The noob indices are not wrong just a different batch of the gen dial.

Buy the ARF, noob is just....

My LN had some issues with crown as well, also reversing gears busted or a spirng. Currently getting a full service and lubed . Hopefully it will be great to get it back.

Thanks guys, yeah I may have overreacted slightly.

I’m having work done on it so hopefully I can get the pearl re-seated. It’s not much but it does bother me.

I’m also hoping that perhaps a set of different spring bars my reduce the play in the SEL.

I’ve purchased a gen crown and tube, aesthetically the crown is fine but it feels a mile away from Gen.

It’s a beauty though for sure, no one should be put off from buying just QC it well and you’ll be really happy I’m sure.

Just got mine back from my smith, gen xtal added and some corrections were made (replaced seconds hand with gen as original was cracked, “fast” hour corrected, date changes now at 24:00)

No filters, watch looking great!

I believe it’s very good OOTB and only those used to gen crystal/DW like me will go for gen crystal with TC DW or gen DW.. But in general it’s the best Sub out of the box UNLESS you have been around gens for quite sometime and anal to detail.. even changing parts will not make it gen so better we accept it as it is and try enjoy more
