I'm looking forward to more of these showing up over the coming weeks and getting more photos from additional angles. Is it just me or does the bezel indices seem misaligned? Almost like the indices and numerals to some degree are a bit too far to the right? The prototype photos didn't seem to have this issue, at least not as apparently. Also, are the 6 and 9 positioned dial markers a lot fatter than gen? I'm still really loving the watc and look forward to more examples and/or the revisions ARF hopefully. Asked if necessary like they did with the sd43

The ceramic bezel could be off yes saw that on a few older models. Maybe the Noob V9 fixxed the crappy insert paint. We will see

It looks to me all watches have a problem with the missaligned rehaut, it cannot be fixed by aligning the dial. I checked about 20 different watches incl my QC. Right side is ok, left side is always shit.

For that reason and for the badly focused pearl, I discarded ARF. In the end I bought the Noob V9

Let's see. The engraving is definitely out of sync with the dial, but that's not really a big issue if I am honest and maybe ARF will fix this. Still one of those really unnecessary flaws and impossible to fix later.

Yes, could be fixed but all depends on how many cases they already have built. V2 will come. But first they will sell these.
I have seen this issue also on the nice 904 daytonas. Looks like they have changed the supplier, because the engraving was ok on the old 314 cases.

I had some QC pics from Sead which show the rehaut problem - I never bought it from him, someone else's pic so can't post it. To be honest, I never saw it until I read this thread.

The problem is caused by there being too many numbers or spaces in the serial number section. The software (AI) or whatever the art was made in will adjust the letter spacing from left to right, or clockwise, to fit the characters evenly around the diameter (o maybe they just had some muppet space it manually) - so having to few or too many characters, or messing up the space allocated to the serial number will fuck up the alignment of the R O L E X letters with the minute indices.

So they will need to go back amend their art / CAD of fix the problem, not just tweak the machining.

No big deal - you can't see it on the wrist anyway.

agree, there is a lot you do not see when it is on the wrist like case, hands etc, but it doesn’t bring us the perfect sub lol

To be honest I don't like the lazer rehaut anyway. I'm thinking buy the noob v9 then maybe buy the ARF later and use whatever parts I can from each and sell the donor

One photo the coronet at 12 looks a little left justified but not by much.

They need to fix the bezel number spacing as it's the biggest fault at the moment, the indicies at 3 and 9 highlight this clearly.

Mine doesn't have this alignment issue. Maybe its just the pictures angle

unless you don't have a particular question to a certain issue it is not the purpose of QC pictures to post them and ask in general for green or red light. That is against the rules of RWI (read them)

Otherwise keep us updated regarding the Bezel issue on the 50 marker.

No problem mate. Just keep it in my mind for the next time. You had a particular question so till this point everything was fine.

MAn, I just don't see the issue with the 3 and 9 indices. My bar is set at what the watch looks like with the naked eye compared with my Gen. I bought my SUB M2M here. I don't know what version but it looks great next to my GEN which is being sold as the REPS are too good to park $7,000 on my wrist or watch box. IF we magnify any watch, I would suspect there would be things that don't seem right.

The minute ticks can be easily aligned with the rehaut engraving. @guru

The whole movement can be rotated slightly inside the case and fixed in place in the right position.

So guys, please stop worrying about non-existent problems. You can t expect the qc from china to be that good for a 3-400 usd watch. I ve seen lots of missaligned gens as well.
