Hey you all!

I'm ordering my second replica (1st one was a noob v7 SA3135 which stopped working after 2 days).
This time Im ordering a DD 40.
The question is with what movement:
Swiss 2836 or the A2836?

Which one is more reliable?

Thank you

Oh boy , these days the A2836 are pretty dang good , the swiss 2836 are usually cobbled used swiss units built from different movements ...

IF you can get a new swiss , that would be the one to choose , but good luck on that

Mate, always wise to think one step further before we buy watches: movement reliability in first place, then availability of spare parts, availability of whole movements, price point of GEN 2836 and A2836 regarding whole movement and spare parts, generally speaking. So my path in this context would be: ALL THE WAY A2836 !!! My f#cking A2836 runs like a racehorse :punk:

In case sth goes wrong (God forbid) is it difficult to find parts for the A2836?

A new swiss 2836 would be ideal. My BP Wrapped came with one but my BP plated was refurbished. That said, there’s nothing wrong with an Asian 2836. I’d go with what ever is cheaper.
