Nice to see you got that DSSD, Exploder. How does it feel?

Very happy, exceeding my expectations. Although I have a couple of subs and an Expl II I'm not really a Rolex guy. They always tend to be on the smallish side for me, so this is better, but still it is a big small watch if you get my drift. I usually wear big faced watches like the big PAMs (127 etc) and the BP5004, and the DSSD is a big, thick, heavy watch but with a rather small dial. At least it feels that way with the bezel and the ring lock. Came as sort of a surprise. Was a bit worried about all the (possible) flaws like wrong font on the date wheel, the "10" on the bezel being all wrong, pearl being to flat or too balloony, the rims of the hour markers being too thick etc etc. You know, all the things that are discussed in the DSSD threads, but honestly people, all those details are so frigging small you can't really see much of them with your naked eyes. I mean, the date window is so focking small I can hardly find it on the dial! ;)

Anyway, I've taken a massive load of macro pics that I will post in an hour or so (need to put kids to bed first) for the big boys of the DSSD club to nitpick at. :) (For the record, I love the nitpicking!)

Cheers, Xplodr

Hello All, I am fairly new to this forum, Just joined a couple of days ago. Congratulations on all the DSSD, I have wanted one for the longest time. Does anybody have pics of the $98 version that has been going around, is it any good for a noob just getting into Reps? I saw one website had a version of the DSSD for $88, model# SD-0001S, it has a 21j asian 2813 movement. the web site is Replicamake.com and the guys name is lay. Thinking about trying it out , I hear good things about him. If anybody in the know can check it out and post what the think of it I would appreciate it Thanks , Allen
