I wouldnt buy a 21J watch.
My DSSD has just died
Only about a week old.
Out of two 21J I have bought, both have died within a month.

And yes you can see the slight tick with the 21J.

I've had 6 or 7 21J watches and none of them have ever had any problems to speak of. Occasionally I'd get one with less defined detents for date change and time set positions, but none ever died or ran weirdly.

Speaking of 21J's, I should post these up to make me official:

It's not as big or thick as I thought/was led to believe it was going to be, even sitting on top of a NATO strap. Maybe it's because I'm just used to thicker watches now, as I wear my Seawolf and Ploprof regularly. I like it, but I'm glad I'm not as nuts about them as I used to be, or I'd have been disappointed.

Looks great, really liking the pro hunter look on the DSSD!
I guess I have been unlucky with 21J, but I am not gonna waste anymore money on them. I also have never been particularly happy with the sweep.

Thanks! I particularly like that the "original gas escape valve" ring is all blacked out...the black font on silver with the normal DSSD is a bit too overstated for me on a silver watch, but this is about perfect.

That does look nice in black and the strap is great.
I live in a town where most everyone's got the money for gens....... except me (w/kids)

Which is good for someone like me.......never think of reps here
except the 5 carat CZ in platinum settings they wear

I wanna be in the club! This one came from WBK. I matted the dial and sealed the HEV. It has quickly become my favorite. So much so that I am considering taking the BK plunge.
