Mate, old post, but wondering who did your Xtal work, or did you do it yourself? Another member here looking for someone to replace their Xtal. Cheers.
Was collected with modified xtal as one of its first mods, assuming prof installed it? I really couldn’t tell the difference from a gen being no cyclops on this model. Hope that helps.

This is very interesting, I would like to know how to get a quality ceramic insert. I gave you a noob v7 and I have already repainted it several times

Can you upload a couple of pics from this angle? Need to see the crown guards from front on. v7 are different to v6/s.

This is a v7 (not my pics)

Is there any better ceramic insert? I read for Spongebob and i text him 2-3 times but never reply
I don't know of any other than the Spongebob mod. Best bet is probably to open a WTB thread in the M2M parts section, or reach out to TDs with a photo of the existing 1166610 v7 insert (not modded) AND a photo of the insert you're after, and see if they can source it for you.

I'm sure this has been asked, and although I've read quite a few of the 114 pages on this topic, I don't see it having been discussed recently - which rep 126660 available now is best in terms of quality of manufacturing, likeness to gen and robustness / reliability of movement? I've been told by two TDs that the V9F and CSF 126660s, both of which have the same Asia clone 3235 movement, are their best. Many thanks.

Both claim to have a VR3235, which is okay. It's not a clone but more of a hybrid between a 3135 and 3235 movement and has a ~40 hour power reserve. That aside, neither of these reps are accurate for a 126660. The main error, which cannot be fixed, is the incorrect font on the OGEV RLS ring.

Thank you. Is there a better 126660
rep available?

BPF 126660 with VR3135 if you can get one. Otherwise, a GMF 126660 with VR3135.
You haven't said whether you're after a JC or black dial DSSD. If you want a JC, then the BPF dial has the better color IMO. Black dial, it doesn't matter as much, but the BPF is still the better watch for me.

Thanks very much, SS72. I’m interested in the JC. Will try and find a BPF with VR 3135. Hopefully they’re available.

Doesn’t the BPF use 316 vs 904 steel used by V9F and GMF? If so, it that a big deal?

Yep, it does. As far as 316L vs 904L goes, I'll leave it to you to form your own opinion. There's one resource linked below. But do you want a watch that is more resistance to corrosion and not subject to being magnetized, or one that looks more like the real deal? Also note that some factories claim their watches are 904 but are actually 316.
