you're right, but now that there is the new forum I was hoping to have more precise information and news, maybe with photos or reviews of those who bought it. on the exile forum I was always told to wait for the new forum to clarify everything, I hope I did not create trouble.

Just get the version you like most (general consensus is JF for accuracy if you can put up with the explorer print 'issue).
Forget waiting for the 'updated' version. Certain members think they have an inside 'scoop' because they read Chinese and look at Watchbus. Reality is there is always going to be something coming or updated, V2 V3, etc. If you always wait you will never buy anything!

the only problem could be the print Explorer? from the photos of the comparison with the gen I would not be able to distinguish it yet I have seen many Explorer gen but I would not understand the difference. but also live is so close to a gen? for the new version, even if there were, what could improve? the movement? the Explorer print?
Only the Explorer text, nothing else. The watch looks and "feels" gen.
It's a good chance that they will correct that text on the v2, but screw up something else and you will wish you have ordered the current version.
Now go find a TD and order the damn thing already..

After having mine from some months I can say that IMHO is really a wonderful rep, NWBIG.
Time by time I found some little flaw, on the clasp and bracelet especially but can be fixed and mine is under the hands of a specialist of this kind of things at the moment.
For the watch, is near perfection. Just changed the reversing wheel of the autowind module and now, wearing on wrist, I have around 40h of power reserve after two days.
In the future I would like to change the stem and crown with gen ones for sure, and only If necessary also the tube. The crystal is ok, only when you look on certain angle is too white on the edge and I think that a gen gasket could solve this.
Icing on the cake could be a gen dial and set of hands but, believe me, I was close to buy a gen before this and saw it many times: is not necessary at all.

thank you. I will certainly buy it. so if I approach a gen is not distinguishable? from the videos and the photos look identical, but I would not want anyone to understand the difference.
It's consensual NWBIG, this is RWI, home of the most detailed oriented, fanatical, horological lunatics. If you meet someone in the flesh who understands the difference, asks them if they are selling any of their pieces m2m... There are members here who spot flaws on gen, especially Rolex.
I have a JF Explorer, clasp extension had a minor flaw, and edges a bit sharp. Easy fix.

It all depends on the person. I'd buy this in a heartbeat if they fixed the spacing issue on the dial. I'm not someone that expects unrealistic absolute perfection. Some people obsess over crown length, crown guards, very slight differences in thickness, SEL perfection, etc... I can actually live with minor issues in those categories but when it comes to the dial, the thing I am staring at everyday, I need that to be right.
Come out with a JFV3 or an ARF with the fixed dial and I'm game. If something else happens to get messed up in the process, I really hope not, as long as it is minor I'll live.
Exactly why I haven't got it. The explorer print for me is such a big put off I essentially said to myself I wouldn't get it until fixed or another factory released one. I'm tempted to pick up a BP if JF don't fix it.
I'm in the same camp, keep your perfect SEL's, lugs, crown guards, etc. I can see the writing on the dial a mile off. I don't need a loupe, macro shot or magnifying glass, my eyesight is perfect thanks. I don't care if Rolex released a version once upon a time with dodgy lettering. I just want aligned and decent print thanks
