116610 LV NOOB V7 SA 3135 VS 116610 LV GEN

Hi guys,

Today I got a brand new Rolex Submariner 116610LV.
I would like to show the differences between GEN and my SUB 116610LV NOOB v7 SA 3135(same model).
First off all i have to tell you that the noob v7 is really very similar to the gen. When the dealer saw my noob v7 on my wirst he thought that it was a gen.
I had to remove my noob v7 and gave him for a comparision with gen....the dealer was stunned!
NOW i'm going to show you some pics under artificial light and some pics shots inside my car(cloudy day)

PS:I have to say a special thanks to @JohnnyDepp because he convinced me to buy a new gen(i wanted to get my noob v7 franken)

awesome post. Great comparison and that noob is scary close! What about the feel and the weight. If you close your eyes and run your fingers over the watches is it easy to pick out which is the rep and which is the gen? Not that that is relevant in anyway lol it was just something that I thought would be a good test since they are visually so close.

Guys, in my opinion the most relevant details are:
-range dial colors from green to black on the gen.
-insert color, little bit difference on the green under strong lights
-insert numbers, the gen has real shining platinum numbers
-pearl, lower on the gen
-rehault, most polished on the gen
-dial index, little bit smaller on the gen
In conclusion, if i look at the wirst of someone from 50 cm 1 or 2 second i can't tell if is gen or noob, maybe someone can do that but it's really hard.
You have to mach side by side both for understnding which is gen or not.
Despite these details i'm really satisfied for my purchase

@mike42112 try with Chazingtime but now i suggest you to hold on because it's out the SH3135 (YUKI) movement and i bet that the next 116610LV come out with that movement.
If you cant't wait like me....get the noob v7 116610lv SA3135 best edition.
I posted one tread 1 month ago with a comparison between noob v7 sa3135 and a2832....inserts color was not the same....
