The 9015 is a great movement, but certainly with a louder rotor. If you can live with that, absolutely no need to pay the extra bucks for the Swiss ETA (which would probably old stock or kind of refurbished anyway).

The Miyota are very robust and reliable movements but personally i don't like the sound of the rotor as i think its too loud ....

Thanks. I'd have no trouble spending 120 bucks if I could really trust these so called real swiss Eta. If they're refurbished or something like that I don't want to spend more money to have a worse movement.

Take the miyota one of your first link, the second watch has a really terrible pearl in my view,
not sure if the second is really a BP SD, latest BP´s have better pearls as far as i know.

When you are getting QC-pics take care about the SEL.

Btw: Sead has always BP versions available got mine 6 weeks ago with A2836 Mvt. runs perfect and keeps time top notch.

Thanks. Links above are just examples. When I decide on the movement I still have a lot to read on who's the best TD to have it delivered CONUS when I'm there and good QC pics. But now movement decision is my problem. Tks

As i told you regarding Mvt. Sead´s actual BP´s with A2836 are top notch in my view, got 2 piece in september which had good data on the Timegrapher QC pics,
both are winding up smooth and keeping perfect time - good deal for the money in my view

The Miyota 9015 should be just as reliable as swiss but there are no parts available for mods for miyota should you want to mod. So I guess if you are willing to use the BPSD OTB... get the miyota 9015. It is great OTB btw.

Yes just OTB. I guess miyota SD and 16610 next will be the way to go. Cheers.

I heard these movements are tanks. Has anyone had any issues with theirs? I don’t see much about these movements anymore.

Miyota 9015 are awesome awesome movements. They are workhorses, last many many years and I've never heard of one breaking actually.

The Swiss ETA or the ones being sold are most likely mix of swiss and clone movement parts. Where are they getting 100% new swiss ETA's from? Definitely not from ETA.
