Which box is correct for a TC Sub

What is the correct box for a TC sub V6 ( From the model it is based on )

Is it the one with the sand coloured pillow with envelope, the sand coloured interior with the watch band or the Green velour interior. I believe the wave box is for the later 116610 models ?

I did read a thread about the different versions but it was based on the earlier versions of his watch.

Hmm, horses for courses I say. A few of my friends who are not rep collectors have boxes for their rep, you've. Gotta put it somewhere lol.
Personally, I had boxes when I first started, and soon got bored. Like smoke says, you can't wear a box (unless you're a cat )

and boxes are kind of expensive. I would rather put $150+ toward a new watch.

I have no intention of passing the TC off as a Gen, I do have a Gen Datejust if I ever wanted to do that ( Not that I do that anyway )

I just like to have the full package for my own benefit, looks good lying in the cupboard !! ( I keep the boxes for everything I buy in the loft, sad I know )

I think the watch seems to be more based on the D series and looking at a few Gens for sale they have the newer wave box, I thought that was just for the 116610.

Your right though the £100/$145 could buy another rep which is probably a better idea if I think about it.

Don't see a problem at all wanting to buy a gen box. I don't have any but it would be nice to keep my TC in one.

Gen wave boxes are beautiful! I'd buy one and just look at it empty without the watch in it. Also, in terms of resale, I find that pictures of rep watches in nice Rolex boxes adds to the appeal and lust for the watch. I have a gen wave and it makes me happy just to smell the glory that is Rolex.

I have boxes for over 46 Minichamp Valentino Rossi models.., I only have room for so much stuff! No Rep boxes for me..I think its pointless.

As per my knowledge, the wave boxes started around 2005-2006, so the leather and wood boxes with a suede sleeve, not the envelope are period correct for TC Subs....just for reference here are a few pics
