Out of interest, can anyone confirm if their Yachtmaster has the 5mm easylink extension on the clasp/bracelet? I think this is gen spec, but not sure if it is present on the reps.

I've ordered the Noob Rhodium with A2836. Looking forward to receiving the QC pics and then need to stay off this site for a while to avoid any further temptation (GMT, AP15500 white dial etc).

Indeed! Now just need to have my gen crystal and dw installed and I'm good to go! Bracelet rebrushed and polished already. I so love the YM... platinum and blue dial coming up next!

Indeed the YM is nice to wear. The crystal, DW and crown are worthy investments. I also replace all winding parts and the wheels to gen. Good luck with your projects, post some pics.

in fact the YM 40mm is one of the nicest watches to wear. the case is what they should have done on their whole lineup, not just the 40mm YM & daytonas

I think one day the YM may very well be more respected by collectors.

I tend to be ok with the crown on ARFs. This one winds pretty well too as of yet. But for the parts you're referencing, if I got a complete autowind module, would that include said parts?

This is a good foundation, should be good on a VR3135.
For my movements, I end up changing all the date parts and wheels also (hour, minute, seconds) and the hands pinion because it is easier with gen hands

Do you do the work yourself? I like the idea of going the route of using gen parts for the movement, but I've received advice otherwise.
