Is that the gen insert installed in the last pic? I can't tell the difference between a gen insert and the new TC v2 inserts. Maybe side by side with a loop.

Just picked up my lv after gen xtal install plus pressure test and regulation. It wasn't running too great apparently to the tune of 14 seconds per day but hunky dory now and good to 5 bar. Pic of Gen xtal. Really big difference even though the lec is not period correct

No stock Tc insert, think it's his updated version, still need to fit the Oem, just don't if I can do it myself! Think I need to check google videos lol

Can you do a back to back pearl shot like TC did in his blog? Both inserts look gen to me, can you tell a difference?

The biggest tell for me is the silver triangle. On the genuine, you'll see a black strip at the top. It's not silver to the edge. On the TC, silver goes to the edge. That's how I tell on'em anyway.

I didn't mean for you to take the insert out. Just put the pearls next to each other like this, only with your gen in the watch.

I've done the whole franken'ing thing with TCs (many times) and have owned a fair few gens ..... but I can now honestly say that there is no need to add ANY gen parts to the latest TC offering!!

It would be a complete waste of time and money.
