No one is selling their LV TC... but the question for me here is, can the crystal and bezel get fixed by our watchsmiths? Or it's doomed?

That I'm not sure of. I heard it needs some type of mod but haven't seen a DIY thread yet.

Is it possible to mod a 16610 (tc or otherewise) bezel to be bidirectional with a click?

You just need to swap the spring with the one for the GMT.

Glad I checked this page because I typed the same reply on page 67!

The top of the GMT spring is curved at the top to allow the teeth to skip booth directions rather than stairght to engage the bezel teeth. You can get them from ST supply

Bummer. Is it because of the shape of the bezel teeth underneath?

Yes and the spring click is looking in one direction and can't be bent back. Click on both sides would need a total differemt setup :)

Sent my TC off to be waterproofed and I'm missing it again already, every time I'm without it I keep coming back and drooling over this thread!

Touch wood with gen crown and tube, gen crystal and Clark gasket it should be decently waterproof now and I've heard of TCs testing all the way down to 300m which would just be mega cool!!
