I used to own it!
You need a BK DWO for TT 16613
I'm not sure which bracelet he gave you? But the cartel sells watches with plated side sels !! And BP also has a plated sides sel bracelet..But other than that looking pretty good!

Sent from my Rolex thinking brain!

Thanks for the info,,,I got the right DW coming but I could use some more details on the right bracelet....maybe you can pop up a link.

I know fer sure the EL's are wrong but I havent gone over the bracelet to determine if it's just the EL's or the whole bracelet that needs changed. So Rudy, what is the best way about getting just a BP (correct) bracelet?

Thanks for your help

You'll need to buy the entire watch. Unfortunately they won't sell just the bracelet. That or the m2m. Tough finding those there though.

Well thanks for the advice, but I know that drill hence I was asking Rudy for some links for another way. No offense but see that tenor and post count. Hell, maybe I sounded all noobish.

Tx, based on what I am seeing your bracelet is correct aesthetically. You have a no lug hole case and "Swiss Made" dial so your sel bracelet is correct. The downfall is it's a gold plated bracelet and your endlink fitment is not great.

If your looking to upgrade your bracelet (which is what Rudy is hinting) your best "better than what you have" sel option is to find a wm9 bracelet or another gold wrapped bracelet. However, even then you don't know how the sel will fit between your MBW lugs. Last thing you want are larger gaps.

To Ceo's point the only way of going upon finding a replacement rep bracelet is shopping m2m. You won't find a good bracelet thru td's or web. The BP bracelet you speak of may not be any better than what you already have.

If you want to upgrade get yourself a wso bracelet - it's 100% solid gold (not plated). It has 2pc hollow endlinks which is not correct for your case but who cares. That's the route I went.

Note:
1.with hollow end links it also allows you to have gaps and still look/fit like gen. The gens had them too at that time.

2. Let's say you go hollow end link route and you want the rest of the watch period correct - would need need to get lug holes (or like me just keep the case with no holes and say whatever) and a 93153 style clasp (I did this as well).

Wso link:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=310304839747

Here's mine, no gold plating here...sorry about the photo quality I'm on the train.

*curvature of endlink matched well with TC lug.

No offense but post count doesn't always translate into expert of all things rep. I know certain people gravitate to certain models and basically become SMEs for it and know little about the intimate details of other watches. You've helped me a few times with gmts in the past (thank you). :)

Just trying to help a brotha out, lol, and return the gesture. IMO I would hunt, like om3ga said, the elusive wm9 or mbw wrapped gold bracelets. Obviously the most budget conscious. The only thing to note is wm9 case thickness seems to be slightly different then some of the other watches. So some sel fit may stick out from between the lugs. Om3ga had that issue with the wm9 and tc v6 case. Worth noting.

Personally if money isn't an option, wouldn't that be nice?, I would shoot for the two piece wso bracelet and that way you'll know fitment will be less risky and rid your mind of tarnish fears.

The other mod, which I almost resulted too, was to use hobby/metallic paint and with a fine brush paint the sel exposed as metal. Tedious sure but that covers most of the exposed metal.

To Ceo's point about TC case and wm9 bracelet having gaps, correct the end links were a tad short width wise and too thick height wise. This was one of the reasons why I went wso bracelet (amongst a a few other really good reasons).

Photo references (gaps aren't terrible but shouldn't be there either way):

Corona,
I didnt mean to sound all snobby and shit. I didnt. I hear what your saying...I do. My brain is kicking 2 or 3 options all around at once and that is dangerous as hell for me, BIG TIME. That usually means spending MONEY.

spirit,

You hit the nail on the head about what I am thinking right now. See, I am a fan of the pre 2003 (I think) drilled lug 16613's. Hell, I have seen like 5 or 6 16613's as if late. 2 serti's in one weekend, a blue dial and a black dial on the same damn day....all drilled, I know because I stopped them and wrist whipped they asses. This MBW has that late 80's date wheel.....so I am already kicking around having jmb drill the lugs. I realize that the 2004/4 16613's have the SEL's but....you know where I am going with the thoughts. This particular MBW has the new bracelet for sure...clasp stamp says AB10 93250....now we know what that means.

Corona,
Again, I am not opposed to buy a Cartel TT rep to rob the bracelet and parts from. I just have to know definitively what rep it is I need to buy and not buy the wrong rep, have to start the shit all over and be beaten down but all the wasted time. It's not so much the money as it will be the wasted time. I know they have a big ass section of "vintage" Rolex's that would hopefully come with a 93150 bracelet/clasp/correct end links, So, if you have an idea which one,,,,,help a brothuh out

Rob,

In response to your PM and a few others...

The main issue with all TT bracelets is that they are not solid gold. They are either gold plated or gold wrapped. Gold wrapped is the best cost effective option, however depending on how often you wear it or how the bracelet is treated long term the finish starts to chip and fade. Some guys on here will say their WM9 bracelets never had these issues but its different for everyone. Both Ceo and Rudy have seen the WM9 bracelet I have, its not pretty.

Looking beyond the above two options - the closest to gen option (aside from going gen) is to buy a real "solid" gold bracelet. This means all the gold components are not plated or wrapped. They are real solid gold. You don't have to worry about fading, chipping or light weight components. Your best option for one of these real gold bracelets is to go WSO or ST. The link I posted above was WSO, its about $1k. The clasp that comes with the bracelet wont be period correct but your buying the bracelet for the bracelet ends anyway. The WSO bracelet only comes with 2 pc endlinks so you will need to be prepared to either 1. drill your case for lug holes or 2. accept your non-period correct bracelet on a no holes case which is what I did.

The great thing about hollow end links like i mentioned is fitment is very different with this design over SEL. The end links site a little loose and start to stretch as they age so the gaps are still gen like.

Photos for reference (I'll be installing a gen 93153 clasp in the next few days so my entire bracelet will be period correct):

Whoa ! As good as it gets on a 16613 !! The closest I get to one of those is my Sead 16610 Maxi Dial with a 16613 engraving between the lugs. At least, that's a good start !! LOL !!
