Right? Presuming the crystal is still not the right shape/height, that is the only remaining flaw I can think of, besides the crappy bracelet but that can be replaced with a Tc 93160. The CGs look amazing, and that pearl!

Hard to find a fault with this new release. I had the original SLSD and I swear this new version has an improved crystal - the old one was too tall and chamfered.

The CGs are indeed superb and the pearl is the best I've seen on a Sub/SD rep. I'm tempted to get myself a TC bracelet, but it was a very tight fit last time I tried one.

Best VFM rep out there at the moment IMO ;-)

Xtal, might be .1mm too tall and the bracelet from what I have heard sucks.. A better TC bracelet can be had for $45, so it's worth the investment. All in all, it seems like an amazing rep.

What about the date font on the 21J. Is it good? Asking since can't be swopped for TC datewheel, which would be my only reason for going for more expensive 2836 instead.

looking at pics in dealer sites and looks a little thin. Maybe that's old pictures?

Mine just arrived, so here are a couple of quick photos.

Very nice watch, the SEL is not bad on this one but think I will go for a TC bracelet, crown guard looks good as well.

The pearl on this is very nice, have a look at the photo below which shows it compared to a gen insert in my TC Sub.

Excuse the crappy iPhone pics, will take some better ones when I get a chance.

So CG and pearl have been updated?
Is there any flaws on this besides the bracelet and crystal?
Specifically what is wrong with the bracelet (SEL that's it?) and crystal?

EDIT: it seems that the 40's 4 on the bezel is different from gen bezel 4's I've seen.
I don't know if there are many gen bezel versions but that's an easy tell if it's diff from gen.
