Nice, but put them both in the light and you will see the difference, that green has an emerald shine to it that no rep factory can produce yet. I do agree that the Noob v9 and VRF is the closest to gen in color (ARF too dark)...although I have never seen or held a local louie as I have seen and heard the comparison...As far as the bezel, the v9 is the closest one out there as looks and shines better than the ARF and upgrade as they did improve from the previous runs. I have the both of them. The scallops are deeper on the gen and also the curve from the underside is more pronounce vs the reps. You can mod the bezels by shining or sanding the scallops but the next step is also the bezel clicks and resistance. Amazing how they improve every versions..

will this be an alternative to the good old ''VRF'' Hulk? I saw some QC's about the latest VRF hulks and it seems that the quality is not the same about the old batch pieces.

I must have seen a tons of different pictures of the Hulk (Gen/Rep) before ordering.....and simply from a PC screen it's impossible to judge color.

From the pictures posted above you see that the Noob V9 insert is very very close to the Gen.

Extremely happy with my purchase.

I have heard the people have mentioned a drop in quality from the VRF to the VRF max? Are these still the best” bang for buck” hulk? Also contemplating the noob v8 but puts me off that these are still all over the place with SEL and colour

Correct. There’s a Chinese guy posted a video comparison on YouTube between gen hulk, ARF VRF and Noob V9. V9 insert being the closest to gen color and least gen like tone is the VRF.
